Step inside, and you’ll find a no-frills dining atmosphere that prioritizes hearty meals over aesthetic flair. While the decor may not win awards for style, the promise of flavor makes it worthwhile. The staff, although occasionally met with mixed reviews regarding their friendliness, are dedicated to serving up delicious plates of food that highlight the signature peri-peri spice.

The menu shines with a variety of popular dishes that are sure to please. Take, for instance, the Frango Double Fillet Burger, a bold choice for the burger lovers. Dressed with a vibrant peri-peri sauce, it aims to deliver a unique punch of flavor, although some diners have found that their experience can vary. The classic Chicken Burgers may come with a flavorful twist, but reports suggest it’s the seasoned fries, drizzled with their standout white and orange sauces, that really steal the spotlight.

Despite mixed feedback on certain meals, many guests rave about the seasoning and distinct flavors of their dishes. One customer described the unique tang in the burger sauce as something you just can’t find elsewhere, emphasizing that the right sauces can elevate the entire meal. This attention to flavor profile may just coax you back for another visit, especially if you’re a fan of chicken and rice dishes that deliver on deliciousness.

While some have encountered less-than-stellar experiences, particularly regarding chicken texture—finding it sometimes tough or dry—many customers remain hopeful, labeling such occurrences as a “one-off.” Thus, there’s the tantalizing potential for a delightful meal, spiced to perfection, just waiting to be discovered at your next visit.

Been to various different branches From here ordered a frango double fillet burger, chicken and rice, burrito meal and some classic chicken burgers Chicken and rice tasted delicious, classic chicken burgers tasted alright Frango burger was very disappointing, lacked taste and flavour, chicken was rubbery and dry. Substandard burger putting it mildly Like I always say everyones taste buds are different and opinions differ and this is just my humble honest opinion.

It was late and I wanted something not to unhealthy so there Piri Piri attracted me. I was very unsure when I entered as the place is totally uncool. Staff is dead serious snd not customer friendly at all. However the old man behind the till tried to intervene and his intentions were right. But the main worker that was serving was a complete let down. Anyway move on to food. For the price I paid, I was not impressed. I had a 15 wing platter with some lettuce and onions and two chips. No drinks included. The taste was great though and food was fresh. Lets just say. I was better off going elsewhere if it was for the money and experience.

The food is really quite good. I think the flavours are pretty unique and the sauce in the burger has a great tang to it you can't really get anywhere else. The seasoned fries are great too and most importantly this place understands the importance of great sauces. The white and orange sauce are the best I've ever gotten anywhere and blows all other sauces out of the water. Given that, the girl at the till was completely lifeless and for some reason they don't do the Mexicana burger despite showing it on their menu. The other reviews also suggest there's a consistency and attitude problem though I only come here infrequently. It's too bad a great product is being ruined by things like this. The cost was fine, about £8 for a rodeo burger and large fries (the portion of which was indeed quite large).

Current: Ordered recently and had a Frango meal for myself, was looking forward to it but the chicken was ever so tough, lacked moisture and was therefore not as enjoyable to eat, the flavour was there, but the chicken had been overcooked and thus dried out, hoping this was a one off, hence not giving 5 stars, yet. Previous: Ordered from this store when it first launched and wasn't blown away or even wow'd...many years on it is definitely one of the better place for the type of food it offers. MILES better than Pepe's and they read the instructions on the receipt (whomever the manager is KEEP IT UP) I've since ordered again. If this keeps up and nothing gets missed from orders then I will be back to update to 5 stars. For those wondering what I got, it was the Macho burger with BBQ sauce and smothered in tantalising extreme flavoured sauce . #GoGetYouSome
